Berberine has worked well to help lower my blood sugar. I do exercise as well just as Jose and Diana suggest.

I was hovering between 160 and 130 for most of the day except for meal peaks nearing 200 which would slowly taper off. Within a few days of starting Berberine my real time graph began to shift down to between 130 to 100 and sometimes in the 90s. I actually started getting some low alarms in the 60s now and then while sleeping. My peaks are somewhat lower and don't last nearly as long. I do continue to take 1000 mg Metformin twice a day. My A1c was 7.1 back in Feb. My May labs should show improvement.
